Kushal Shekhawat is a screenwriter and film director currently working in Mumbai. He began his formal training at DLCSUPVA, earning his degree in filmmaking. In 2024, the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) selected him as one of the Creative Minds of Tomorrow. His short fiction Whispers of Hues and documentary Behind the Doors have screened at festivals both nationally and internationally. Kushal actively hones his directing skills by working as an assistant director for established filmmakers like Kaushal Oza and Gurvinder Singh. Right now, he is wrapping up post-production on his first independent feature-length documentary film.
