Deepankur Anand was born in Pathankot and grew up in the quiet valley of Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. Without easy access to theaters as a kid, he made up for it by spending most of his college years watching movies instead of attending class. A 2017 directing graduate from DLCSUPVA, he originally focused on slice-of-life dramas and travel documentaries, known for trusting his crew and adapting on the fly. Lately, Deepankur shifted his focus to future-edge AI filmmaking. Being the co-founder of Rang Film Works, He now heads multiple AI-driven projects from start to finish, managing full production teams while continuing to direct his own independent work.
