Aman Punia is an independent filmmaker born and raised in the small village of Bichpari, Haryana. He discovered his interest in storytelling early on and eventually formally trained in directing, graduating from DLCSUPVA in 2017. Aman’s work focuses on dramas, comedy, and stories that highlight the absurdities of everyday life. He prefers to keep his directing style straightforward and deeply personal. His early short film TOK earned solid recognition across multiple film festivals. Instead of chasing trends, Aman focuses on making audiences feel present in the scene. He is currently writing his first independent fiction feature film.
